About the position

QRIOS is currently recruiting this exciting role at Cytiva. As the Lead Software Engineer at Cytiva, your primary responsibility is to spearhead the design and development of Service Platforms & Products aimed at facilitating remote troubleshooting and diagnostics.

This role represents senior technical leadership within the Global Service R&D Organization, based in Uppsala, Sweden, and requires onsite presence. At Cytiva, our overarching vision is to propel the advancement of future therapeutics from their initial discovery phase all the way to delivery.

Responsibilities

In this position, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Support team members through pair programming and code reviews.
• Evaluate technology options and make well-informed trade-offs.
• Apply SDLC principles and Lean/Agile/XP/TDD/CI/CD methodologies to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable software modules.
• Develop Windows Services using C#.NET that adhere to standards and fulfill project requirements.
• Develop Web Services using Angular, HTML, JavaScript on .NET core/framework, including REST APIs, to meet project standards and functional needs.
• Utilize a multithreading approach to enhance performance.
• Utilize cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, and/or WCF.
• Optimize existing and ongoing applications for enhanced performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Contribute to establishing best practices and standards for software development within the organization.

Your profile

The fundamental qualifications for this position comprise:

• Possession of a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in C#, HTML, Angular, and JavaScript on .NET core/framework.
• Skillful utilization of Azure DevOps Repos/Pipelines for facilitating incremental software development.
• Experience in SDK or software platform development, along with supporting product-based variability.
• Familiarity with InstallShield for conducting installation upgrades across consecutive releases.
• Exposure to Continuous Integration, delivery, deployment, and version control.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while also knowing when to seek assistance.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with multi-functional, global, and remote teams.

Additionally, advantageous qualifications include:

• Previous experience in the Biotechnology/Life Sciences industry.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and regulatory environments.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Documentation Practices.
