Materials Controller

SAS Link operates a fleet of 10 E195-E1, mainly in the Scandinavian intra-domestic market. This function is part of SAS Link CAMO team to serve as key element in securing materials are in place for all our reactive / proactive / predictive maintenance. The Materials Controller liaises with the contracted AMO’s to ensure that all materials, spares, equipment that are required to support aircraft maintenance are available on time and at the correct locations.

Challanges you will work on

As a Materials Controller you will continuously evaluate and improve processes related to own work duties, this includes actively updating and improving applicable instructions within own area.

As a Materials Controller, you will:

  • Monitor consumption and stock level of rotable and consumable components.
  • Order inventory as per AMOS Parts Consumption Forecast.
  • Liaise with Part 145 repair and overhaul shops and vendors concerning repair and overhaul of components.
  • Maintain continuity of materials and spares required at contracted AMO's.
  • Engage with logistics service providers on shipping of goods to/from the Operator and AMO's.
  • Ensure timely return of components to repair facilities and maintaining a record of all shipped stock.
  • Track warranty, parts and core exchanges.
  • Monitor service level agreements between the Operator and its contracted spare suppliers.

To be successful, we believe you should have:

  • 2-4 years of professional experience within logistics/purchasing area
  • AMOS Basic Knowledge
  • Good understanding of Maintenance Operations
  • Good knowledge of EASA regulations in Part-M and Part-145
  • Good knowledge of quality system related activities
  • Knowledge in LEAN
  • Knowledge of Quality and Safety Management System
  • Knowledge of purchasing/logistic processes at a global level
  • Competence within MS Office package, mainly Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Structured, with an ability to find, handle and structure a large amount of information to take the right decisions. 
  • Detailoriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • You are responsible and have excellent time management skills
  • A teamplayer with strong collaborative as well as communication skills

  • This position is permanent and fulltime (100%) and will start with a 6-month probation period
