Axis has a strong network of partners who develop creative software solutions on top of our hardware and software portfolio. We are working to provide a world-class Developer Experience (DevEx) for these partners, ensuring they have the tools, services, and examples they need to succeed.

We are now looking for a versatile Fullstack Developer who thrives on solving unpredictable problems and has a passion for modern cloud technologies and AI. In this role, you won't just be writing code; you will be building the platform and the "gold standard" examples that enable external developers to build the future of security and vision-based analytics.

What you'll do here day-to-day

• Build & Operate: Develop and maintain cloud-native services and web applications so that external developers can work smoothly with Axis integration offer. We take full DevOps responsibility for what we build.
• Enhance the Experience: Collaborate with other R&D teams to refine their services, ensuring they meet the needs of our partners
• Innovate with AI: Our team has an AI First mindset - we build with AI, for AI. We explore together how to use AI tools in our development workflow, and we design our developer experience with AI in mind.
• Frontend & Backend: Build responsive, component-based frontends in React/TypeScript and scalable backends primarily in Go or Node.js.
• Solve the Unknown: Work in a tight-knit team where we tackle new, complex technical challenges daily-often problems we haven't encountered before.

Who are we looking for?

• A Team Player: You value collaboration and realize that the best solutions are born through team effort and knowledge sharing.
• A Problem Solver: You have a "can-do" attitude and the ability to find a way forward when faced with technical hurdles.
• AI-Native or AI-Curious: You don't just use ChatGPT for copy-pasting; you are interested in agentic AI and how tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude Code can transform how we build software.
• Continuous Learner: You have a deep-seated desire to learn new concepts, frameworks, and methodologies as the landscape shifts.

We'd love to hear that you have

• Cloud & DevOps Experience: Solid professional experience of deploying and operating services in cloud environments (e.g., AWS).
• Fullstack Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, React, and preferably Go or Node.js.
• Modern Infrastructure: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code.
• AI Tooling: Experience using AI as a collaborative layer in your development process. If you have built your own AI agents, skills, or harnesses, that is a significant plus!
• A university degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent professional experience.

It is a bonus if you also have prior experience with

• Building Developer Tools or APIs intended for external use.
• Axis technology and our product portfolio.
• Contributing to Open Source projects or developer communities.
