About the role

As a Vehicle Architect, you will act as the technical bridge between the company and its suppliers, ensuring that the requirements for armored vehicles are met with precision and innovation. You will lead the roadmap development for a dedicated range of products, overseeing the product range from sale strategy to aftermarket strategy. Your role will also involve mentoring junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and confidently navigating the wider network to drive value creation.

Job / Skills

This position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in armored vehicle development. You will apply advanced knowledge to shape technical definitions and support the broader team in achieving their goals.

Your main responsibilities

• Lead the technical development and roadmap for armored vehicle products
• Act as the primary interface with suppliers to ensure alignment with project requirements
• Oversee the product range, including sale strategy, manufacturing, platform strategy, and aftermarket considerations
• Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and growth
• Collaborate across the organization to articulate and deliver value within your area of expertise

Your profile

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Vehicle Architect with:

• Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, or a related field
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in vehicle architecture, with a focus on armored vehicles
• Technical Skills: Strong background in mechanical architecture and system integration
• Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in the defense industry, particularly with armored vehicles
• Soft Skills: Ability to mentor peers, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively across teams
• Language: Fluent in English; Swedish or other European languages are a plus
