You will take ownership of how risk assessment is run across an R&D organization in automotive powertrain development. This is a central role where you combine process ownership, methodology, training, and tool responsibility to strengthen the quality and consistency of FMEA work across projects.

You will act as the go-to expert for risk-related topics and Requirements Management, helping teams work in a more structured and standardized way. The role also includes driving alignment around methodology updates and tool usage, with clear visibility in a quality-focused engineering environment. It is a strong opportunity for you who want broad influence over both ways of working and technical quality in R&D.

• You will own the FMEA process within R&D and drive a consistent way of working across projects.
• You will facilitate and guide teams in performing high-quality risk assessment analyses.
• You will follow FMEA status across projects and help ensure activities are completed on time and in a standardized way.
• You will educate the organization in the current methodology and support the transition to AIAG-VDA based customer requirements.
• You will align teams around how FMEA is performed within R&D and support effective use of the decided tool.
• You will lead the implementation of the FMEA tool within R&D.
• You will take ownership of FMEA training, from generic introductions to deeper technical training.
• You will act as the business owner of the FMEA tool and as an R&D subject matter expert in risk-related topics and Requirements Management.
• You will own the process and tool setup for System, Function, and Design FMEAs relevant to R&D.

• Hands-on expertise in FMEA, including System, Function, and Design FMEA.
• Ability to facilitate risk assessment work and guide teams toward high-quality, standardized analysis.
• Experience working with FMEA methodology across several projects or teams.
• Knowledge of AIAG-VDA and how customer requirements affect FMEA ways of working.
• Experience owning, managing, or implementing an FMEA tool.
• Ability to train others in both introductory and deep-dive FMEA topics.
• Understanding of risk-related topics and Requirements Management in an R&D environment.
• Fluent English.
