About the role

As a 3D Technical Developer, you will solve complex problems to simplify life at home. You will join a supportive team designing and maintaining 3D pipelines that deliver thousands of models and shaders to various platforms.

Work tasks

This role involves developing and maintaining the technical infrastructure for 3D content production, ensuring efficient workflows through coding and system design.

• Design and maintain 3D pipelines and tools to enhance content creation.
• Build robust and scalable backend systems to support creative workflows.
• Develop technical solutions in C++ and Python within an agile Scrum environment.
• Deliver 3D models, shaders, and images to real-time and offline platforms.
• Identify system pain points and launch projects to enhance existing technology.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, 3D artists, and other stakeholders.
• Navigate and contribute to parallel workflows enabled by Universal Scene Description (USD).

We are looking for

• Advanced knowledge of C++ and Python
• Basic knowledge of cloud technology, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Deep understanding of backend systems infrastructure
• Ability to build scalable and maintainable services for production workflows
• Experience with Digital Content Creation (DCC) tools and workflows
• Strong understanding of technical and creative aspects of 3D environments

It is meritorious if you have

• Experience with Blender or Unreal Engine
• Knowledge of Universal Scene Description (USD) and Material X
• Understanding of shading models and CGI/offline graphics
• Familiarity with Rust, Camunda, or Splunk
• Experience training or mentoring 3D artists
