As a Data Engineer at Nordnet, you aren't just building pipelines; you’re shaping how millions of people interact with their financial future. You’ll sit at the intersection of platform engineering, automation, and customer experience.

• Platform Innovation: Develop robust data integrations and infrastructure to drive engagement and platform automation.

• Event-Driven Tracking: Maintain and evolve our tracking and event infrastructure that processes millions of daily signals to create a seamless, inspiring user journey.

• AI & Agentic Systems: Building the tools and intelligence that turn complex data into real-time insights and automated customer experiences.

• Data Mesh & Modeling: Use dbt and BigQuery to create high-quality data products that the whole organization can rely on.

• Collaborative Problem Solving: Partner with Data Scientists, Product teams, and business partners to translate complex requirements into elegant, simple technical solutions.

You’ll join a collaborative community of Data Engineers, Analysts, and Scientists who are all working toward the same goal: making Nordnet a truly data-driven bank. We value a methodical, thoughtful approach that supports both the team’s healthy climate and our ability to deliver. We think you’ll fit right in if:

• You have a professional background in building production-grade systems. We aren't hung up on titles; if you have a strong grasp of software patterns and have worked extensively with data flows or backend systems, you'll have the foundation we're looking for.

• You take pride in the quality of your work and feel responsible for the team’s collective success.

• You enjoy writing maintainable Python and SQL and care deeply about building reliable systems.

• You bring a solid understanding of data modeling principles from your experience in data-centric roles.

• You value solving problems through discussion and thrive in an environment of shared learning.

• Working with Google Cloud Platform, dbt, or Terraform.

• Navigating event tracking or high-volume data ingestion.

• Exploring MarTech architecture and customer platform data flows.

• Experimenting with LLMs to build internal tools.
