About the Role

You will join a team in the automotive industry that turns customer and market needs into feasible truck configurations and complete vehicle solutions. The work centers on adapting requests within an existing modular product architecture, with a strong focus on chassis composition, layout, and how different vehicle systems fit together.

In this role, you will work close to both customers and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, assess technical options, and move solutions from request to delivery. You are trusted to drive your own work with a high degree of ownership while staying closely connected to the team. It is a great opportunity if you enjoy combining hands-on engineering with real influence on customer-specific vehicle solutions in a technically advanced environment.

Job Description
  • You will handle customer and market requests related to truck configurations and specifications.
  • You will evaluate technical requirements and identify practical solutions using a modular product toolbox.
  • You will work with chassis composition, vehicle layout, and complete vehicle systems.
  • You will manage your own requests, orders, and deliveries from start to finish.
  • You will coordinate requirements and solutions with customers and cross-functional stakeholders in different projects.
  • You will use engineering systems and tools such as CATIA, OAS, and ENOVIA in your daily work.
  • You will contribute to problem-solving and help ensure that requested vehicle specifications can be delivered as agreed.
Requirements
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering, or another relevant technical field.
  • 3–5 years of experience working in the client's product and engineering environment.
  • Hands-on experience with CATIA, OAS, and ENOVIA.
  • Experience with chassis composition and layout, or with complete vehicle systems.
  • Good understanding of vehicle configuration and engineering processes.
  • Ability to independently manage technical requests, orders, and deliveries.
  • Fluent Swedish or English.
  • Ability to undergo a background check before the assignment starts.
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of defence-related requirements.
  • Previous military experience or another relevant military background.
  • Citizenship in a NATO member country.
