About us

In the Strategy & Sustainability department, we drive E.ON Nordics' long-term strategy and ensure that we are at the forefront of market development, sustainability, and new business opportunities. We work closely with our three business areas to drive and implement common strategy that is not only integrated but also tailored to the unique needs and goals of the business.

We are now looking for a Strategy Business Partner who wants to take a key role in driving and implementing the strategy within our business area Energy Infrastructure Solutions, focusing on district heating and cooling solutions, critical infrastructure and decentralized solutions, driving innovation, sustainability, and efficiency in integrated energy systems. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with the interaction between strategy and daily business operations, ensuring that our strategic initiatives have an impact and create value for the business.

Your role

As a Strategy Business Partner, you will be the link between E.ON's overall strategy, the Energy Infrastructure Solutions business area, and the group's strategic direction. You will be responsible for the strategic work within the business area and play a key role in ensuring that our strategy is not only clearly formulated but also successfully implemented. In this role, you will work at both strategic and operational levels to shape our long-term business development and position us well in the industry.

Your task will be to lead and anchor the strategy and work closely with the business management team to ensure that our strategic priorities are understood and implemented throughout the organization. This role also includes representing the business area in the organization’s overall strategic work. Acting as a bridge between business and strategy, you function as a business-oriented strategic partner who ensures that strategic decisions are well-grounded in market and business needs. 

Your Responsibilities:

• Drive the strategic agenda within your business segment and ensure that E.ON is well-positioned to meet future challenges. 
• Translate strategy into action, follow up on implementation, and ensure that the strategic direction is anchored in the organization based on a long-term agenda. 
• Ensure effective internal and external communication of strategic goals and guidelines, and drive key issues within the organization. 
• Support business management team in strategic and political issues, where you play a key role in formulating and positioning our stances. 
• Work closely with other business areas and unit managers to build synergies and ensure effective implementation of the strategy throughout the business 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you with several years of experience leading strategic work within a complex and regulated industry serving B2B customers, where experience from the energy industry is meritorious. With your experience, you have the ability to communicate and anchor complex strategies clearly and engagingly. You are used to working at a high level in close collaboration with management teams, and if you also have experience from a role including line responsibility, it is considered meritorious. You have several years of experience in developing decision support and business cases, and packaging these clearly, both in writing and orally.

As a person, you are confident in your leadership and have the ability to create trust and engagement at different levels. You are a strategic leader with a business-driven approach and a passion for navigating a dynamic and sustainable industry. You see opportunities where others see challenges and focus on creating concrete results and delivering value to both customers and the business. You have a talent for leading large strategic shifts within business areas – you visualize change, set the ambition, and guide the way forward by creating direction, engaging others, and ensuring that everyone moves towards the same goal. With your strong personal impact and ability to translate strategy into action, you inspire the organization to drive change and create real business value.
