About us

In the Strategy & Sustainability department, we drive E.ON Nordics' long-term strategy and ensure that we are at the forefront of market development, sustainability, and emerging customer needs. We work closely with our three business segments to drive and implement our common strategy and explore new business opportunities.

We are now looking for a Strategy Business Partner who wants to take a key role in driving and implementing the strategy within our Energy Retail business area. Energy Retails vision is to be a trusted leader in energy, delivering innovative and digital solutions, optimized and affordable energy and excellent experience to our customers, both B2C and B2B. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work at the intersection of strategy and business, ensuring that our strategic initiatives have an impact and create value for our customers and the business.

Your role

As a Strategy Business Partner, you will be the link between E.ON's overall strategy, the Energy Retail business area, and the group's strategic direction. You will be responsible for the strategic work within the business area and play a key role in ensuring that the strategy is both clearly formulated and successfully implemented. In this role, you will work at both strategic and operational levels to shape our long-term business development and position us well in the industry.

Your task will be to lead and anchor the strategy and work closely with the business management team to ensure that our strategic priorities are clear and implemented throughout the organization. This role also includes representing the business area in the organization’s overall Nordic strategic work. Acting as a bridge between business and strategy, you function as a business-oriented strategic partner ensuring that strategic decisions are well-grounded in the market's and business's needs.

Your Responsibilities: 

• Drive the strategic agenda within your business segment and ensure that E.ON is well-positioned to meet future challenges.
• Translate strategy into action, follow up on implementation, and ensure that the strategic direction is anchored in the organization based on a long-term agenda.
• Ensure effective internal and external communication of strategic goals and guidelines, and drive central issues within the organization. 
• Support business management team in strategic and political issues, where you play a key role in formulating and positioning our stances.
• Work closely with other business areas and unit managers to build synergies and ensure effective implementation of the strategy throughout the business.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you with several years of experience leading strategic work within a complex and competitive industry serving both B2C and B2B segments, preferably from the energy sector. With your experience, you have the ability to communicate and anchor complex strategies in a clear and engaging way. You are used to working at a high level in close collaboration with management teams, and if you also have experience from a role including line responsibility, it is considered meritorious.

As a person, you are confident in your leadership and have the ability to create trust and engagement at different levels. You are a strategic leader with a business drive and a passion for navigating a dynamic and sustainable industry. You see opportunities where others see challenges and focus on creating concrete results and delivering value to both customers and the business. You have a talent for leading large strategic shifts within business areas – you visualize change, set the ambition, and guide the way forward by creating direction, engaging others, and ensuring that everyone moves towards the same goal. With your strong personal impact and ability to translate strategy into action, you inspire the organization to drive change and create real business value.
