Are you an experienced Verification Engineer with an interest in system-level testing and embedded systems? Do you enjoy hands-on verification work and taking ownership of end-to-end functionality in complex technical environments? Then this could be an interesting opportunity for you! ALTEN is now proactively looking for Verification Engineers to clients within the automotive industry.

Main responsibilities

• Perform verification on system level and/or embedded software
• Develop, execute, and improve test methods and verification approaches
• Perform exploratory and requirement-based testing
• Work hands-on with test environments, rigs, or target platforms
• Support development of simulations and test utilities
• Document verification results, test methods, and quality status
• Take responsibility for verification of selected end-to-end functions

Your profile

You are a structured and analytical engineer who enjoys hands-on verification and system-level problem solving. You are comfortable working in cross-functional, agile teams and take ownership of your work from planning to delivery.

We see that you have:

• Experience from verification or test work in embedded systems
• Experience working with Linux-based environments
• Familiarity with system-level testing and verification workflows
• Experience working in agile or Scrum-based development teams
• Very good communication skills in English, both written and spoken

Meritorious experience

It is considered a merit if you have experience with one or more of the following:

• Verification of complex or centralized ECU systems
• Automotive software or embedded platforms
• Test automation frameworks or scripting
• Simulation tools or test environments
• CI/CD pipelines, integration, or test management tools
