Do you want to work with vehicle development within electrics and electronics? We are now looking for a Senior Wiring Architect for an exciting assignment with one of our automotive clients. At ALTEN, you will play a key role in developing the electrical architecture of vehicles – from concept phase to final solution.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Wiring Architect, you will be responsible for developing electrical system solutions for our automotive client in the early stages of vehicle development. You will work closely with both development teams and project management to ensure that the right electrical architecture is defined and implemented.

You will use your expertise in wiring harness design, wiring topology, and electrical component installation to develop reliable and efficient solutions.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop logical electrical diagrams in SABER as input for the wiring harness development team

Recommend wiring and installation concepts in early project phases

Decide on wiring harness topology and recommend interim solutions for test vehicles

Specify electrical wiring and hardware interfaces (I/O configuration)

Work with the wiring development process in the early development phase

Develop and document wiring harness and power cable components (wires, cables, connectors, passives, brackets, cable channels)

Drive technical decisions, identify improvements, and propose new solutions

Take responsibility for the wiring harness product structure and technical release

WE BELIEVE YOU HAVE...

Strong knowledge in wiring harness design and vehicle electrical architecture

Ability to work with ambiguity in investigations and concept selections

Solid experience with SABER or similar wiring diagram tools

Knowledge of installation, wiring harness, ECUs, and electrical components
