Your Role

As Head of Unite Team 2, you will:

• Lead a team of subject matter experts and specialists in R&D.

• Drive performance based on strategy, project goals, and product roadmaps.

• Set SMART targets, manage resources and budgets, and monitor KPIs.

• Recruit, onboard, and develop team members while staying ahead of tech trends.

• Collaborate across teams and functions to ensure alignment and innovation.

• Contribute to product development, maintenance, and documentation.

• Identify opportunities for innovation while maintaining business priorities.

• Be an active member of the R&D management team and lead broader initiatives.

What You Bring

• MSc/BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Health Informatics.

• 6–10 years of experience in software engineering, IT, telecom, or healthcare.

• Proven leadership in global, multicultural environments.

• Understanding of Ascom’s product portfolio and agile methodologies.

• Advanced skills in technical excellence, analytical thinking, and project management.

• Intermediate proficiency in communication, customer focus, and decision-making.

• Proficiency in Swedish and English – both written and spoken.
