Are you interested in shaping the future of green technology? Do you have a background in mechanical and/or mechatronic engineering and enjoy a hands-on role with diverse responsibilities? As a Development Engineer, you'll step into a dynamic position where no two days are the same.

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

In a new, modern office located in central Gothenburg, you will join a team of seven people with short decision paths and openness to suggestions and new ideas. Our client offers you the chance to work with an interesting product in a dynamic market where we strive to be at the forefront of technological advancements.

As a Development Engineer, you will hold a versatile position characterized by varying responsibilities and a dynamic workday. Your main focus will be on mechanical work, and you will also take a hands-on approach. You will have customer contact and act as technical support when questions arise, and when needed, travel to visit customers on-site. The role will be flexible and will also offer opportunities to work with software development and testing.

Examples of responsibilities include:

• Drafting and organizing documentation for technical components.
• Creating a drawing library (e.g., for hangers and brackets).
• Preparing technical documentation for manufacturing.
• Provide customer support related to products and software.
• Potential on-site customer support during system commissioning.
• Conduct visits to customers and, when needed, to the production site.

IDEAL CANDIDATE: 

• Bachelor’s degree from a university in mechanics and/or mechatronics.
• Knowledge of CAD, preferably SolidWorks.
• Fluent in English and Swedish for communication both internally and externally.

Extra merit for experience in:

• Software development (backend, embedded and/or frontend).
• Wireless systems (Wifi, LoraWAN).
• Network configuration.
• Thread wire bending.
• Plastic injection moulding.
• Hobby projects in software, mechanics and/or mechatronics.
• Work-life experience from a similiar role.

EMPLOYMENT: 

This is a temporary consulting assignment meaning you will initially be employed by Friday.

• Employment type: Temporary assignment with good chances of extension.
• Start date: December 2025 with the possibility to start hourly during the autumn.
