We’re looking for a Senior Electrical Hardware Engineer to join our product development team for Electrical Distribution Systems at Volvo Group Trucks Technology.

What you will do

You’ll help drive the world toward a cleaner future. Working in Electromobility gives you the benefits of a large international organization combined with the innovation-driven culture of a startup. You’ll collaborate closely across departments — sales, purchasing, labs, software, and more — and take full ownership of your work, from concept to industrialization, and through to aftermarket support.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and delivering high-voltage electrical distribution hardware (e.g., HV connectors, cables, fuses, sensors)
• Supporting both new and existing platform applications, aligned with our technology roadmap
• Troubleshooting current products and improving system performance
• Using development tools and processes such as JIRA, KOLA, PDM, and SE Tool
• Working within a broad internal and external network
• Providing technical support and feedback to global customers

Who are you?

You're a curious, collaborative team player with a passion for developing electrical driveline hardware. You enjoy solving today’s challenges while thinking ahead to future solutions. Experience in the electric vehicle field is a plus.

We believe you have:

• A Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A structured, proactive way of working with multiple stakeholders
• 6+ years of Product Development experience, preferably in the automotive industry

Familiarity with Volvo tools and processes (KOLA, PDM, PIL)
