A Snapshot of Your Day

Join our dynamic Materials and Chemistry Technology Department as a Materials Engineer, where you’ll play a pivotal role in supplier qualification for material-intensive procurement areas like castings, forgings, machining, and surface coatings. Envision partnering with multi-functional teams, comprised of procurement professionals and design engineers, to cultivate a cooperative work environment. Your day will be filled with assessing material investigations from external labs and occasionally traveling to ensure quality standards. While based in our Finspång facility, you’ll enjoy the flexibility of working from home when tasks allow.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Support supplier qualification processes and assess material investigations conducted by external laboratories.
  • Collaborate closely with procurement professionals and design engineers in small, multi-functional teams.
  • Travel approximately 5 to 10 times per year to ensure quality standards.
  • Work primarily at our Finspång facility, with the option to work from home when feasible.

What You Bring

  • A master’s degree or equivalent experience in Materials Science or Engineering, with approximately five years of proven experience.
  • Strong expertise in metallurgy, mechanical testing, material characterization, and manufacturing methods related to materials.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Swedish is an asset.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
