Job Summary

Tetra Pak Packaging Material Sunne AB manufactures packaging materials for Tetra Rex, a packaging for liquid foods. Our production consists of converting plastic-coated paperboard into packaging through three operating steeps: lamination, printing/punching, and edge sealing. We are about 260 employees, of whom 40 people work at our unit in Skoghall. We prioritize safety first and constantly work on continuous improvements throughout the business in accordance with WCM – World Class Manufacturing.

We are now looking for a Senior Automation Engineer who will lead, design, and deliver automation solutions to our plants in Skoghall and Sunne.

The position is permanent and based in Sunne and will require presence in Skoghall during periods.

What you will do

You will be responsible for the technical scope and system architecture. It can be for a specific area in a large project, like PLC or HMI. In a small project, it can be the complete scope. You will support and guide the maintenance teams in terms of daily operation.

You will focus on

• PLC programming in Siemens
• HMI programming in Siemens
• MES/modelling and implementation of databases
• Operational Technology network and security
• Virtualization

We believe you have

You have a university degree or other relevant education, and preferably 5 years of working experience with industrial automation. As we provide solutions for factories, it is important that you have experience and understanding of the complete automation system on the plant level. Skills in overall MES/modelling and implementation of databases, computer network, and IT infrastructure and virtualization are beneficial. Experience in protecting automation systems from cyber threats is a key requirement.

A very good command of English, both written and verbal, is a must.

As a person you are flexible as well as structured. You are a team player with the ability to informally lead and coach towards the project goal. We believe you have a strong focus on problem solving, quality and results. You enjoy developing your competencies and seeking out new knowledge and techniques. As the work includes close contacts with other stakeholders, it is important that you are good at communicating.
