Mechanical Engineer to our R&D site in Stockholm

At Axis, we've always been about pushing the boundaries in pursuit of innovating for a smarter, safer world. We do this by developing IP-based products and innovations for security and video surveillance. After a successful start last spring with the opening of our new Stockholm office, we are excited to expand our team. We are looking for an Experienced Mechanical Engineer to our Multichannel Products department (MCP). Don't miss out on the opportunity to join us at the forefront of our new and expanding site!

Who is your future team?

Working together in a team, you will develop products with significant innovation possibilities to meet market demands. The portfolio includes multidirectional cameras, panoramic cameras, and modular cameras. Our most important asset is our ability to cooperate. What you´ll do as an Experienced Mechanical Engineer

As a Mechanical Engineer at Axis you will work in cross functional teams to develop new cameras from a concept phase to a complete product. You will have daily collaboration with other mechanical designers, electronics designers, industrial designers, product owners and more. The daily work as a Mechanical Engineer can be anything from creating new concepts, designing mechanical solutions, testing, building prototypes and discussing use cases with people from different disciplines within the company.

As you will have great responsibility for the development of new products, often from the early idea stage to a finished product, it also means a great deal of cooperation with the implementation of the product in volume production. Here we work together with quality engineers, production technicians, suppliers, and more.

Who are you?

You are curious, have a great passion for technology, love challenges and enjoy solving them in a team-focused atmosphere.

You also have a relevant education in engineering and at least 3 years of previous experience of product development. Knowledge of product development for high volume manufacturing that includes injection molding and die casting is highly valued and will be used in your daily work. Experience with 3D CAD (preferably Creo) and PDM systems is necessary.
