Machine Learning Engineer

Are you an innovative and results-driven Machine Learning Engineer with a passion for cutting-edge AI applications? Do you thrive in optimizing algorithms, refining models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

The Engineering business area at Sigma Connectivity WSI in Stockholm continues to grow. Here, we mainly work on exciting assignments at the client's site (on-site consulting). Your skills will develop through interactions and work at client companies.

About the Role

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and optimizing machine learning models for real-world applications in different consultant assignments. You will work with our clients as an onsite consultant, where some tasks could be within Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems, enhancement of neural network performance, and implementation of strategies to mitigate class imbalances in datasets. Your experience of CI/CD, version control, and model deployment will be key in ensuring efficient workflow automation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Machine Learning or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, Git version control, and collaborative software development.
• Hands-on experience in active learning techniques, dataset analysis, and optimization methods.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on model performance improvement.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Prior work in Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems.
• Knowledge of Knowledge Distillation techniques and experience in semantic segmentation tasks.
• Experience digitizing handwritten records using AI-based text recognition methods.
