Are you ready to join the Engineering Graduate Program?

The Engineering Graduate Program at Volvo Group Trucks Technology is a global 12-month program where you are offered the perfect mix of on-the-job learning and diverse training modules. You will get the chance to use and develop your technical and creative engineering skills, while gaining valuable experience working with real products on real business challenges. During the year you will engage in activities that will help you grow professionally and personally, developing strong communication and collaboration skills.

Besides your manager, who will guide and support you in your daily job, you will have a supportive network of peer graduates, colleagues across the globe, and senior leaders to help you excel. We hope you will learn as much from us as we will from you.

How you will make an impact 

You will help us explore the possibility of using AI to optimize the platform offering. 

You will investigate different alternative methods to optimize the overall product offering by balancing customer suitability and product performance versus the cross-functional impact of product diversity and configurability.  

We believe that you are

You are interested in learning and understanding the impact of product diversity in the different organizations in Volvo Group as well as the value of a configurable product and scalable architecture.

We believe you have strong programming skills and a great interest in artificial intelligence. You also demonstrate a keen interest in understanding how different teams and functions collaborate to deliver a diverse range of products.

You meet the following requirements: 

• You have a M.Sc in Computer science, Mechatronics, Industrial engineering and management or in a similar field.  
• You have proven leadership capabilities 
• You are skilled in programming (Python), and you have a passion for AI development 
• You are curious about the big picture and the inner workings of a cross-functional organization 

Previous working experience at Volvo Group Trucks Technology is an advantage 

To qualify for the Engineering Graduate Program, you’ve completed a master’s degree prior to the start of the program but not more than 18 months ago. You should not have more than two years' full-time working experience in the field prior to starting. You also need to be fluent in English, both written and verbal.
