Your role

As a Mine Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing mine schedules that align with long-term strategies and are operationally feasible. You’ll also support the implementation of best practices in open pit drill and blast wall control, working closely with technical services and production teams in a multicultural environment.

At Svappavaara, the Mine Planning Department oversees both short-term and production planning for local deposits. The team includes professionals in surveying, geotechnical engineering, geology, and mine planning, working collaboratively to optimize operational performance.

What you bring

• Academic degree in mining engineering or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in open pit mining
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written; Swedish is a plus, or a willingness to learn
• A valid B-class driver’s license

We are looking for a mining professional who is adaptable and driven by continuous development.
