BERG Propulsion is now looking for an Integrated Logistics Support Manager to establish and develop a new function within the organisation. This is a unique opportunity to shape ways of working, influence long-term lifecycle strategies, and play a key role in securing reliable, cost-efficient, and maintainable propulsion systems.

As their first ILS Manager, you will work in a truly international environment where your expertise will directly contribute to improved customer experience, optimized cost structures, and strengthened long-term partnerships.

ABOUT THE ROLE As ILS Manager, you will act as the maintenance analysis manager, taking overall responsibility for establishing and driving maintenance analysis at BERG Propulsion. This is a central role where you will build processes, frameworks, and structures to ensure that their products are not only technically advanced but also maintainable, repairable, and supportable in a cost-effective way throughout their entire lifecycle. You will:

• Develop and implement strategies for maintenance, logistics support, and documentation.

• Prepare quotation materials and act as a key resource in customer dialogues.

• Lead projects for the introduction of new systems, methods, and processes.

• Ensure the availability of spare parts, manuals, training, and special tools worldwide.

• Conduct and follow up lifecycle cost analyses (LCC) and contribute improvements to product development.

• Identify and manage risks related to reliability, availability, and safety.

• Support the sales and customer organization with expertise in ILS and lifecycle management.

This is a role with great responsibility where you will act as a strategic link between development, production, customers, and support organizations. Your work will directly contribute to customers’ experience of reliability, availability, and quality.

Your flexibility allows you to adapt to new requirements, systems, and structures with ease.

Ideally you have also have:

• A university or master’s Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, marine engineering, or equivalent.

• An understanding of the ILS concept or other structured methods for analyzing and preparing technical maintenance or lifecycle management, preferably from defense, marine, energy, or heavy industry.

• Experience in building and implementing frameworks, processes, and systems.

• Experience in producing technical documentation according to standards (e.g., S1000D).

• Knowledge of lifecycle cost analysis (LCC).

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

The position is based at Berg Propulsion in Hönö, and international travel may occur. The role may be subject to a security screening.
