Be part of an innovative engineering team at Nynas, dedicated to shaping the future of infrastructure. In this long-term role you will contribute to sustainable industrial projects, combining design, calculations and hands-on support at the Nynäshamn refinery.

OM TJÄNSTEN

As a Civil & Structural Engineer at Nynas you will be part of the Project Engineering team, supporting both daily operations and major investment projects at the Nynäshamn refinery. You will work with design and review of foundations, steel and concrete structures, and coordinate technical input across disciplines. The role is varied, combining office-based engineering with site follow-up, ensuring that all projects meet high standards of safety, quality and sustainability.

Work tasks

• Design and review foundations, steel/concrete structures, and industrial buildings
• Coordinate civil/structural input across disciplines and stakeholders
• Perform structural calculations, technical assessments, and review design packages.
• Support construction, commissioning, and site activities
• Ensure compliance with Swedish/European standards

VI SÖKER DIG SOM

• BSc/MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 3–6 years’ experience in industrial projects
• Strong design and calculation background
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural engineering software
• Experience with BIM and multidisciplinary coordination
• Fluent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
• Swedish citizenship or valid work permit (minimum 1 year left)

It is meritorious if you have

• Experience from refinery, petrochemical industrial projects
