You will take a leading role in developing advanced mechanical solutions for processing equipment across the full product lifecycle. The assignment covers early conceptual design and R&D through detailed engineering, manufacturing support, installation, and final commissioning.

You will work in an engineering environment with high demands on performance, hygiene, reliability, and quality. In this role, you will drive the mechanical architecture of processing systems and make sure design decisions also support manufacturability, welding, and assembly. You will collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines and contribute as a senior technical expert in a structured and proactive organization.

• Lead the development of advanced mechanical solutions for processing equipment.
• Drive mechanical architecture from conceptual design and R&D to detailed engineering.
• Create, review, and refine 3D CAD designs in Inventor.
• Perform complex calculations, specifications, and technical evaluations for mechanical equipment.
• Optimize designs for performance, hygienic requirements, reliability, manufacturability, welding, and assembly.
• Support manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting in the field or production environment.
• Evaluate theoretical and practical design concepts through rigorous testing.
• Ensure that mechanical designs integrate smoothly with broader engineering disciplines.
• Act as a technical mentor and role model within the engineering organization.

• Strong experience leading mechanical design and development across the full lifecycle of processing equipment.
• Expertise in mechanical architecture, conceptual design, R&D, detailed engineering, and commissioning.
• High proficiency in 3D CAD using Inventor.
• Experience with complex calculations, specifications, and verification of mechanical equipment.
• Strong understanding of performance, hygienic, and reliability requirements in mechanical design.
• Ability to optimize designs for manufacturability, welding, and assembly.
• High proficiency within LFS equipment and working processes.
• Experience supporting installation, production, and troubleshooting activities.
• Fluent Swedish and English.
• Ability to complete a drug test before the assignment starts.

• Permanent employment at Avaron AB
• Occupational pension (4.5% up to 7.5 IBB, 30% above)
• Wellness allowance of SEK 5,000 per year
