Enterprise and Partner Solutions is now looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a core part of Axis Cloud Connect - maybe that's you?

Who is your future team?

You will lead a team of experienced engineers responsible for the core building blocks of Axis Cloud Connect, the backbone of Axis' cloud and hybrid-cloud offerings. Your team's mission is to enable the rest of Axis to build cloud services that are secure, reliable, compliant, and highly available. You do this by setting clear direction, establishing effective ways of working, and ensuring an excellent internal developer experience that allows teams to focus on delivering customer value. Concretely, you and your team will be responsible for:

• Identity and Access Management (IAM), with end-to-end responsibility for the IAM offering in Axis Cloud Connect.
• Core cloud platforms and infrastructure, including Kubernetes-based environments that provide a stable and scalable runtime for Axis cloud services.
• Internal developer experience, owning tooling, automation, and platform services that help Axis engineering teams build, deploy, and operate services efficiently and safely.
• Common ways of working, defining shared principles, patterns, and practices that enable consistent delivery across teams and make sure the platform is: Compliant, reliable, available, and cybersecure.

Your team functions as a platform enabler for the rest of Axis, supporting many other teams and services. Success in this role depends on close collaboration and strong relationships across the organization.

You will be an active member of a management team where alignment, transparency, and shared ownership are essential. There are high expectations on your ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, balance multiple stakeholder needs, and contribute to both strategic and operational decision-making.

What will you do - and who are you?

As Engineering Manager for Axis Cloud Connect Core Platform, you are responsible for a foundational part of Axis' cloud strategy. Your primary focus is people leadership and strategic direction. Together with your team, you own the lifecycle of the platform services, ensuring the right priorities, focus areas, and long-term direction are set. To be successful in this role, you are a strong people manager with a solid general understanding of software and service development. We expect that you:

• Have experience leading engineering teams and creating an environment where people can grow, collaborate, and perform.
• Have a solid understanding of modern software-based services and cloud environments.
• Are comfortable leading through others, trusting your team's expertise while providing clarity, structure, and direction.

You are an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills. You enjoy working closely with other managers and stakeholders to align priorities and resolve dependencies. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, making trade-offs, and helping teams move forward even when all details are not fully known. Axis is a complex and fast-moving organization, and you thrive in that environment. You take a structured and pragmatic approach to problem-solving and value collaboration over control.
