Do you have a background in UX design, interaction design or human-computer interaction - and a passion for crafting great user experiences for mobile devices? Join Axis' New Business organization, where innovation, openness, and collaboration are key.

Your role

As a UX Designer in our New Business UX & Mobile Applications team, you will be responsible for the user experience and user interface of our mobile applications - from setup and daily use to troubleshooting. You'll design and prototype user flows, develop interface concepts, and collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other designers to create intuitive, accessible, and efficient app experiences. The direct team consists of nine UX designers, that works with all New Business products, and four mobile application developer

You'll work in this agile, dynamic team where you will make design decisions while having lots of creative freedom and an experienced team supporting you the whole time. Your work will directly shape our mobile applications used by customers around the world combining creativity, usability, and technology.

Who you are

We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of user-centered design who enjoys turning complex problems into simple, elegant solutions. You thrive when collaborating with others, testing ideas, and refining details that make a design truly shine.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• A degree in UX design, interaction design, information design, cognitive science, or a related field.
• Experience designing for mobile platforms (Android and/or iOS) - from university projects, internships, or 1-2 years of professional work.
• Proficiency in design tools, preferably Figma that we use at Axis
• A basic understanding of design systems and how they contribute to a cohesive user experience.
• An interest in technology and cross-functional collaboration with developers.

Experience with prototyping, electronics, or app development is a plus, but not required. What matters most is your curiosity, creativity, and passion for creating great user experiences.
