HMS Networks is scaling its AI capabilities to enhance automation, decision-making and customer experience across our global operations. As an Applied AI Engineer, you will work hands-on with real-world AI challenges, turning business needs into robust, scalable and value-creating AI solutions. This is a role where your technical expertise directly shapes how AI transforms our company.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will design, build and deploy AI solutions that address critical business needs across HMS. You will train and adapt AI models so they can understand and act on HMS-specific data, terminology and workflows. You will work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements and as a team improve processes.

This is a new role within HMS, you will work in a small central team, reporting directly to Group Management.

You will:

• Apply AI solutions to automate HMS’ business processes
• Train AI models with HMS’ data and workflows
• Integrate AI with enterprise systems such as ERP and CRM
• Collaborate with business stakeholders across functions and countries
• Stay current on AI technologies, trends and best practices
• Work with NLP, machine learning and predictive models
• Take AI models from idea to production and global rollout

This is a hands-on, practical AI engineering role with immediate impact, focusing on turning applied AI into operational value for teams around the world.

ABOUT YOU

You are a curious, pragmatic and technically skilled AI practitioner who enjoys solving real business problems. You combine solid engineering fundamentals with a strong sense of how AI can create tangible value for users and the organization.

You bring:

• Hands-on experience with applied AI or machine learning
• Strong programming skills (commonly Python)
• Experience with NLP, ML models or AI platforms
• Experience building APIs and system integrations
• Knowledge of data quality, training data and model evaluation
• Fluency in English

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Experience with ERP or enterprise system integrations
• Knowledge of chatbots or conversational AI
• Experience with forecasting or time-series analysis
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP

On a personal level, you are business-minded, able to simplify complex topics, and comfortable working with imperfect data. Most importantly, you are continuously learning and motivated by applying AI in ways that make a real difference.
