ALTEN is now looking for a Mechatronic Verification Engineer to join one of our major automotive clients in Gothenburg. ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Mechatronic Verification Engineer, you will play a key role in the verification and validation process of mechatronic systems and components.

You will contribute with your expertise in test method development, execution, analysis, and reporting to ensure system performance and compliance with industry standards.

You will be part of a highly skilled verification team that secures the quality of complete vehicle systems through both lab-based and real-world testing. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, perform, and document verification tests for mechatronic systems

Analyze measurement data and perform root cause analysis and corrective actions

Validate power supply systems and optimize performance

Work with vehicle communication systems (CAN/LIN)

Perform ripple voltage measurement and parameter analysis

Develop automated test procedures and reports

Ensure compliance with IEC, ISO, and IEEE standards

Collaborate cross-functionally with design, software, and system engineers to secure system functionality and quality

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

BSc or MSc in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent

Experience working within mechatronic system testing and verification

Strong knowledge of vehicle communication (CAN/LIN)

Skilled in data analysis using Excel, Python, or equivalent tools

Experience with powertrain systems or heavy vehicle components

Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both spoken and written

MERITORIOUS EXPERIENCE

Experience with ECU applications and engine control systems

Experience from testing or development within the automotive industry
