Responsibilities

• The CAE model build engineer performs Finite Element (FE) modelling, assembly, connections, material and section assignment and debug activity for Crash, Durability and NVH Domain.
• The Model Build Resident Lead Engineer is responsible for leading the creation and delivery of high quality CAE models (Crash, NVH, Durability, Dynamics) at various stages of vehicle development.
• This role involves hands-on modeling, team coordination, and direct interaction with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate model delivery.
• He or She is expected to be innovative in the processes used for execution in order to enable reduction of efforts required to execute a particular task as well as reduce mistakes in the finished product by way of use of automation tools and overall leading to an increase in productivity.

Requirements

• BE/ B. Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering from a recognized university
• Total experience of 5 to 15 years.
• Deep expertise in model build of full vehicle.
• Tool - ANSA, Abaqus, Optistruct, Lsdyna
• CAE tools
• Experience in meshing plastic parts
• Experience in model built and assembly for BIW / Closures / Engine/ Power-train / Suspension / Interiors from crash, Dura and NVH domain prospective
• Theoretical knowledge of finite element analysis.
• Good communication, report writing, technical documentation and presentation skills
