Job description

Randstad Digital is currently seeking a Test Engineer for a consultant assignment.

In this role, you will be a key contributor to the brake development process within the Complete Vehicle department. You will be responsible for planning, preparing, executing, and reporting on brake rig tests. This is a crucial position where you will work with an experienced team to ensure the quality and safety of the final product, helping to drive innovation in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare brake rig tests, ensuring all necessary equipment and materials are ready.
• Execute tests with precision and attention to detail.
• Analyze test data and document findings in clear, comprehensive reports.
• Collaborate closely with the current brake testing team to achieve project goals.
• Continuously learn and deepen your expertise in brake rig testing to support the development process.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in testing and a genuine interest in brake systems. You should be a quick learner, eager to deepen your expertise in brake rig testing and its critical impact on product performance.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

• Experience as a test engineer, with a focus on brake testing
• Hands-on experience with brake rig testing
• A strong understanding of the different phases of the testing process (planning, preparation, execution, analysis, and reporting)

We'll be particularly impressed if you also have:

• Knowledge or experience with trucks and commercial vehicles
