In our team, we work with selling and delivering inspections to our customers, both with and without service contracts. Some of our customers also have platforms that include swaps of units. We work with our units SGT-600, SGT-700 and SGT-750, always striving to improve processes and ways of working.

How You’ll Make an Impact

As a Service Application Engineer, your role will include the preparation and delivery of technical scope for planned inspections. Each inspection is tailored to a specific gas turbine unit and might include upselling opportunities. You will provide technical support to customers and serve as the primary point of contact for technical areas such as performance and fuels (not related to 24/7-support).

The daily work will be organized in cross-functional teams including Service Application Engineer, Sales Manager, Project Manager and Logistics. In this role, you will lead, coordinate and/or execute the technical aspects of delivering preventive maintenance to our customers. You will also contribute with technical input to quotes for selling service and define & assess technical risks, often in collaboration with other technical functions. During meetings, you will be the technical representative of the project towards our customers, partners and within the cross-functional project team. Prior to inspections, you will prepare the inspection scope to be sold.

During inspections, you will provide back-office support during office hours. After inspections, you will be responsible for updating product data in our systems using various IT tools such as SAP and PLM2020. Additionally, you will be the primary contact for any technical questions that arise from customers and regions between planned overhauls.

This role may involve 1-2 trips to the customer sites per year, where you will discuss the planned and/or performed maintenance carries out by our Fiel Service Engineers.

What You Bring

• You have a solid technical background relevant for gas turbine engineering, whether through a technical degree or relevant work experience.
• You are eager to learn and engaged in supporting your coworkers with your newfound knowledge.
• Interest in process improvement is a benefit, as this is a key focus in our daily work.
• Excellent communication skills - We work closely with both customers and internal collaborators.
• Comfortable with working in various IT systems.
• Structured, collaborative and a positive attitude.

You will be joining a diverse team of 11 people from all around the world, each bringing unique backgrounds and experiences. We strive to support one another and build strong technical knowledge within the team. There is always someone available to discuss solutions and ideas before presenting the final scope. We have an internal mentorship program and a comprehensive introduction plan, including training, to ensure new team members are well-integrated.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
