Fagersta Stainless is one of the leading producers in the world when it comes to stainless wire rod and wire. Fagersta Stainless is located in Fagersta, Sweden. The Project manager coordinates and supports the organization in a cost-effective way in project management, investment proposals, preparation of requirement specifications, budgets and cost follow-up, etc. This will be done, among other things, through project management and technical investigations of defined project specifications and proposals.

Responsibility

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within defined deadlines and approved budgets. This includes developing comprehensive project plans and related communication documentation, as well as clearly and effectively communicating project expectations to team members and stakeholders.

The role also involves preparing and delivering progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. In addition, the Project Manager proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential risks or crises, and develops appropriate contingency plans to ensure successful project delivery.

About you

We believe that a technical project manager will be a good fit for this role. You have university degree, preferably in technology or previous working experience. You are proficient in oral and written Swedish and English, have experience of production, design or process engineering work and have experience of project work.
