Global R&D Manager Drilling to Underground Division, Epiroc

Your mission

The mission is to continue ensure market leading position in our Drilling core segments, Electrification, Automation and Digitalization, both in short- and long terms by having the strongest product portfolio in our industry.

You will ensure an industry-best global R&D organization with a clear future vision. Develop mid- and long-term for product & platforms roadmaps for Underground Drilling segments in line with market priorities and ensure global product ownership and product development by agile and digitalized ways of working.

Together with Global R&D Management you will plan and execute R&D tactical and strategic targets in line with Underground division business needs. Shorten time to market in New Product Development by applying agile ways of working and be active and responsive member in the global R&D Management team. In this role you will develop highly competent and motivated leaders and teams by continuous and responsible feedback, coaching and support.

Your profile

In this role you need to have proven experience from leading a global R&D organization and

experience from leading through leaders. You lead to attract, develop, and retain talents for the future. You lead and manage the R&D organization in an efficient and inclusive way and ensure a 'to do attitude and best practice sharing' in all our units. You ensure both strategic and operative focus and results-driven & accountable behavior. You keep active communication with the organization and stakeholders and act with our core values Innovation, Collaboration and Commitment in mind.

As a person you have strong managerial and communication skills. You see Safety and Sustainability as natural parts of our responsibility - and as competitive advantage in our products & solutions.

Location and travel

This position is located in Sweden. Global travel is required to some extent.
