Job Description:

We are currently seeking a seasoned Mechanical Engineer for an exciting project in Gothenburg, Sweden. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of mechanics within the project.

Responsibilities

Ensure project quality regarding mechanical aspects.

Review checklist before each checkpoint/milestone.

Address mechanics-related issues during concept work.

Implement safety features related to mechanics for functionality and safety.

Conduct legal inspections and document findings.

Monitor installations and coordinate technical issues with other engineers.

Collaborate with shop representatives and line organization in project coordination.

Ensure compliance with requirements for mechanical area takeover according to current routine.

Secure mechanical functions as part of the complete project delivery.

Include discipline documentation requirements in RFQ.

Review technical content of documentation to ensure compliance.

Review documentation.

Equipment Types within the Area of Responsibility:

Conveyors

Elevators

Skids

Platforms

Steel structures

Lifting equipment

Competence Requirements:

CAD competence in 2D and 3D

Proficiency in Team Center

Knowledge of applicable VCC standards (SDB-Standard Data Base)

Familiarity with Machine directive 2006/42 EG and applicable harmonized SS EN ISO standards within area of expertise

Basic understanding of process final assembly shop and body handling

Knowledge of basic ergonomics

Familiarity with documentation systems

Duration

Duration: This consulting assignment is expected to last approximately 8 months, with the possibility of extension, offering you the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic project and gain valuable experience
