A Snapshot of Your Day:

• Imagine collaboration with expertise teams in mechanical engineering shaping the future of innovative turbine components and systems. You’ll dive into new developments and improvements of mechanical components and support strategies development for installed service fleet. Every day, you’ll collaborate with colleagues to turn new solutions into our implementation plans for the fleet. You’ll play a key role in the preparation of how new components and variants are brought to life in our Medium Gas Turbine (MGT) fleet.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Technical Ownership: Manage and follow up new engineering improvements for our gas turbine fleet, be responsible for the fleet implementation planning step in the modification process. Take ownership of equipment in the installed fleet to enhance reliability, availability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Overhaul Planning: Plan and implement new solutions considering associated risks and mitigation strategies to ensure optimal fleet performance and safety. Play an active role when planning the introduction of new solutions in the service fleet.
• Variant Management: Manage variants for spare parts to ensure that the right components are used and old variants phased out, support inventory optimization and reduction of downtime.
• Cross-Functional Support: Provide support to Global Service Operations (GSO), and the supply chain to facilitate seamless operations and enhance customer satisfaction.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Experience from work with risk analysis, open for implementation of new methods in the risk evaluation work.
• Analytical skills and the ability to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

About the Team

Become a part of our team within Service Product Development and Engineering. We are a dedicated group focused on various engineering tasks for the aftermarket, including the development of repairs, variant management, and engineering responsibility for the SGT-500. Our team also handles procurement preparation for service.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
